U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command

The US Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC) is the Army's primary medical research organization, based at Fort Detrick, Maryland. USAMRDC funds and conducts research to protect, treat, and optimize the performance of military personnel, including studies on PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and emerging treatments such as psychedelic-assisted therapy for service members and veterans.
