Alma Institute
Alma Institute is an Oregon-based nonprofit training program founded by Rebecca Martinez to strengthen and diversify the network of licensed psilocybin facilitators by centering people from marginalized and low-income communities. One of only two nonprofits approved to provide OHA psilocybin facilitator training in Oregon, Alma integrates trauma-informed, culturally responsive pedagogy with the full Oregon Psilocybin Services licensing curriculum.
Beckley Academy
Psychedelic-assisted therapy training arm co-founded by Beckley Waves and guided by Amanda Feilding, drawing on the Beckley Foundation's pioneering research. Offers cohort-based and self-managed courses for licensed mental health professionals in ketamine-, psilocybin-, and MDMA-assisted therapy, and published the first open-source Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Learning Framework.
Centre of the Heart
Calgary-based psychedelic integration therapy practice founded by Charmaine Husum DKATI, RTC, CT, an internationally recognized registered Canadian art therapist and somatic practitioner specializing in ayahuasca, entheogenic, and plant medicine preparation and integration. Drawing on somatic art therapy, Kundalini meditation, dreamwork, and sacred geometry, Centre of the Heart supports trauma recovery and psychological healing, and Husum's forthcoming book Psychedelics & Art Therapy: A Trauma-Informed Manual for Somatic Self-Discovery (Routledge, 2025) is the first of its kind.
Changa Institute
Changa Institute is one of the first OHA- and HECC-licensed psilocybin facilitator training programs in Oregon and Colorado, founded by Lisa Ginzburg in 2021, with alumni now leading over 33 of Oregon's licensed psilocybin service centers. Entheogen Institute
The Entheogen Institute is an OHA-approved psilocybin facilitator training program in Ashland, Oregon, offering a 16-week curriculum rooted in Indigenous wisdom, harm reduction, and non-directive facilitation practices. The program prepares students to pass the Oregon Psilocybin Services facilitator exam and qualify for state licensure under Measure 109, grounded in trauma-informed care and empathic presence.
Experiential Training Institute
Netherlands-based psychedelic practitioner training and retreat organization founded in 2022 by mental health professionals Jeanine Souren and Hans van Wechem, offering the first FGzPT/NVP/NVvP-accredited psilocybin facilitation training program in the Netherlands. Innertrek
Portland, Oregon-based psilocybin facilitator training organization and licensed service center approved by the Oregon Health Authority, Higher Education Coordinating Commission, and Colorado's DORA, created by the architect of the country's first legal public psilocybin services model. Operating since 2012 as the training program of the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness in Boulder, Colorado, Psychedelic Sitters School trains licensed clinicians and guides-in-training in Mindfulness-Based Psychedelic Therapy® across four medicines—cannabis, ketamine, psilocybin, and DMT—through in-person, hybrid, and online formats. Now in their 13th year with over 35 cohorts completed, they are one of the longest-running psychedelic guide training programs in the United States.
