Psychedelic Culture 2026

Organised by the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines, the Psychedelic Culture 2026 conference will take place at the Brava Theatre Center in San Francisco. This interdisciplinary event is designed to highlight themes that are often underserved in traditional scientific forums, with a strong emphasis on social justice, reciprocity, and the protection of indigenous traditions. It brings together a global community of activists, researchers, and cultural practitioners to discuss the ethical dimensions of the "psychedelic renaissance".

The conference features three simultaneous tracks covering a wide array of topics, including law and policy, media storytelling, and the intersection of technology and art. Specific focus is given to voices from the Global South and the ecological conservation of sacred plants. In addition to formal panels and workshops, the event includes experiential circles focused on music and dance, aiming to foster a comprehensive understanding of the cultural impact of psychedelic substances.
