Course Overview
The Psilocybin Assisted Facilitator Licensure Preparation Program is designed for individuals who wish to gain a deeper understanding and knowledge of working with psilocybin from an ecological perspective. The program emphasizes a relational framework that focuses on preparation, experiencing the fungi, and integrating the experience into work with clients.
The program is grounded in an intentional connection between humans, beings other-than-humans, and, specifically, the psilocybin fungi. The program shares the premises that human behaviour is always relational and is embedded first and foremost in the networks of life that sustains us on our planet, and that human behaviour occurs within family, social, and cultural contexts.
The program is designed for a 20-student cohort and provides mentorship and connections in a close-knit learning community. The classes are a hybrid of Zoom and in-person sessions, and the program's length is 10-12 months, with 160-172 hours of instruction. Each group will have 20 students, and there will be two retreats for administration and facilitation. Throughout the program, there will also be faculty mentoring.
The site is currently (August 2024) not live.
