Gibraltar

Strictly Illegal

Reimbursed Care Access

Gibraltar applies a strict controlled‑drugs framework derived from UK/English law and its own Crimes Act; classic psychedelics (psilocybin, MDMA, DMT, 5‑MeO‑DMT, mescaline, 2C‑X, etc.) have no authorised medical/reimbursement pathways outside of licensed clinical research. Ketamine is available for legitimate medical (anaesthetic) use when prescribed by authorised clinicians; however, esketamine (Spravato®) does not have an established, publicly‑reimbursed pathway in Gibraltar and there is no evidence of a local approved/covered programme for psychedelic medicines beyond routine medical uses and tightly controlled research. Sources: Gibraltar legal/drug guidance and Gibraltar Crimes Act summaries, and UK/EU regulatory actions referenced where relevant to clinical availability of esketamine.
